Easy Care & Longevity

Washing & Care Guide

Caring for your nanosilver® functional apparel requires no complicated procedures. It is treated just like high-quality standard sportswear—simple, fast, and durable.

🛡️

Permanent Active Protection

The silver nanoparticles are permanently anchored within the fiber structure. They will never wash out or degrade in performance, ensuring antibacterial protection for the entire lifetime of the garment.

Washing & Maintenance Rules

Hand wash Wash at 40°C

Washing

Wash at 40°C (104°F) or hand wash with similar colors. Before first wear, machine washing is recommended. Slight color tinting of water during hand washing is normal pigment washout and does not affect quality.

Do not bleach

Bleaching

Do not bleach. Chemical bleaching agents can damage the polymer matrix and synthetic fibers.

Do not iron

Ironing

Ironing is not required. Functional synthetic fabrics naturally maintain their shape and stay smooth after drying.

No chemical solvents

Chemical Cleaning

Avoid dry cleaning or harsh solvents. Do not use aggressive industrial chemicals on functional textiles.

Hang dry or low heat

Drying

Line drying is recommended. If using a tumble dryer, select a gentle cycle with cold air or low temperatures (up to 60°C).

Do not use fabric softener

No Fabric Softener!

Never use fabric softeners. Softener coats fibers with a film that blocks contact between silver particles and skin, reducing effectiveness.

Important Care Guidelines

Accidental use of Fabric Softener:

If you accidentally wash your clothing with fabric softener, simply wash it once more in a regular cycle without softener. The coating will wash out, restoring full antibacterial performance.

⚠️ Protection Against Chemical & Cosmetic Damage:

Please note that aggressive chemical components in certain heavy perspiration, deodorants, or sunscreens (specifically insect repellents containing active substances like DEET) can dissolve synthetic fibers, including polyester (PES). Avoid direct contact with high-concentration chemical sprays.
