ORGANIC cotton – freshness, breathability and ecological origin
It is added to approximately 50% of manufactured textiles. It has good tensile and abrasion resistance, which increases by about 20% when wet. Therefore, it is used with advantage, especially for products that are stressed in this direction and must be washed frequently. The products have a pleasant touch and can absorb a significant amount of moisture, such as sweat.
ORGANIC cotton is grown without pesticides, without chemical fertilizers. It is softer to the touch because its fibers are undamaged by chemicals used in conventional cotton cultivation and processing. It smells cleaner because formaldehyde is not used in its processing. It is also gentler on the skin in terms of allergies, because it does not contain harmful chemicals and, last but not least, it has a higher degree of breathability.
nanosilver® - antibacterial
Silver molecules are firmly attached to polyester fibers. Silver is known for its antibacterial effects - it eliminates bacteria that form in sweat, which are the source of odor. Once the socks dry, they do not stink. However, this process is not endless. After the first few uses, the odor is suppressed, but after multiple uses, the odor may appear. Therefore, these materials also need to be washed. However, compared to regular socks, the intensity of the odor is incomparably lower, as is the speed of its onset.
Lycra® - elasticity and flexibility
It gives the material greater elasticity (flexibility) and elasticity. The stretchability of these fibers reaches up to eight times their length.
polypropylene - water repellency and thermal insulation
The properties of polypropylene - PP - are now generally known: absolute water repellency, strong thermal insulation, low weight. Polypropylene surpasses any other synthetic fiber with its properties, which are used for the production of functional sports clothing.
polyamide - strength and durability
The excellent properties of polyamide include high strength in both dry and wet conditions, high abrasion resistance, high elasticity, low specific weight, high specific volume, very easy maintenance (washing, drying) and more. It is mainly used for the production of stockings and sportswear. Each wash increases the durability of polyamide fabrics or knitwear. Possible symptoms of hypersensitivity of human skin when wearing polyamide products are not caused by the properties of the fiber, but by dyes, detergent residues and the like.
